My Nan is in a respite hospital in Ely after suffering a stroke in July. I visit every week and it is amazing to see how much she is improving week by week. I had the best news day - she is being sent home in a week or two. She has taught herself to walk again really quickly...
I have begun to get to know the small city of Ely and may even have a soft spot for it even though the thought of East Anglia terrifies me! I get scared by the flatness and it reminds me of miserable summers staying at my Aunts house.
